Ex-patriots donate to Sierra Leone medical school

A small group that draws people of Sierra Leonean descent together in the metropolitan area of Detroit Thursday donated computer accessories to the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) at the University of Sierra Leone.

The Sierra Leonean Association of Michigan made the presentation yesterday to the university's vice chancellor and head of COMAHS, Professor Sahr Moses Gevao.

The seven boxes donated contained an all-in-one printer, fax, scanner and copier; an HP OfficeJet PROL7580; three monitors; one flat-panel monitor with integrated speakers; three HP central processing units; and keyboards.
