Road show to showcase ICT products and solutions

The third NECOR Zambia Limited Information Communication Technology (ICT) Roadshow to showcase a diverse range of ICT products and solutions to fit various corporate and business needs will be held at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia on 29 and 30th May, 2008.

NECOR Marketing Assistant Abigal Kulima , said the Roadshow will be looking at the banking and financial sectors, the Government and Corporate organisations at large. She said they also have plenty to offer to individuals too and that even the general public were welcome to attend and be a part of the groundbreaking technology experience.

She explained that this year’s theme is “60 years of Industry Knowledge in Zambia – Enhancing your Business through ICT”. She explained that the Roadshow will be a combination of a conference and exhibition to cover the various range of products and solutions that NECOR offers.

Some of the products that we’ll be showcased at the Roadshow fall under NECOR’s vast product portfolio that include Financial Solutions, Payment Systems, Internet Hotspot Services, Growing viable Business Centres, Cheque Printing and other Security documents for the Zambian market, Customer Support Services, Powerline Communications, Participation in ATM/POS Switch, 24/7 Access SMS based recharge and other SMS bases services, Security Systems, Hotspot Internet Deployment, Data Management Solutions (DMS), Data Security and Store Automation and Retail Solutions.

The ICT Roadshow has been set up to make sure everyone is kept up to date on the latest technologies that are essential from hardware to software to the tools that maximize their value. The objectives of the Roadshow is to provide NECOR (Z) Ltd with an opportunity to exhibit and demonstrate the value of their product offerings and solutions. The ICT Road show will also help discussions and identify a range of key opportunities with stakeholders in order to pave way for new business opportunities. The ICT Roadshow is also an opportunity for valid feedback and it ties in with the 8th Development Goal which encourages the private sectors to make available the benefits of new technologies.
